Instagram introduced Edits, a video editing app that competes with Capcut.
Meta has been working to replace ByteDance and Capcut in the US with its new video editing app.
Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri has unveiled the video editing app Edits.
He says the new app is designed to compete with Capcut, which went offline in the US along with TikTok.
Edits are now available for pre-order at the Apple App Store.
The app will be free, with some features being paid.
"A lot is going on these days, but no matter what, our job is to provide the best tools possible for content creators," Mosseri says of Edits.
