RTX 5060 Ti

The RTX 5060 Ti’s early benchmarks reveal a significant 20% improvement over its predecessor, underlining the card’s enhanced performance.

According to VideoCardz, early 3DMark benchmark results for the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB show a not-so-surprising 20% improvement over the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB.

Anticipation is building as various reports hint at the RTX 5060 Ti’s specs and potential release date of April 16. Nvidia’s latest graphics card will be available in 8GB and 16GB variants, offering users a range of options.

The RTX 5060 Ti has features, including 4,608 processing cores (based on 36 SM units and a full GB206 die). It boasts a maximum clock speed of 2,647 MHz, and its 16 GB of GDDR7 memory uses a 128-bit bus with a speed of 28 Gbps.

An 8-pin connector manages the card’s 180 watts of power, but custom models may use a 12V-2×6 connector. Interestingly, Nvidia is not sending the 8 GB RTX 5060 Ti for review and wants to focus on the 16 GB model, which may indicate a significant performance difference. This distinction is crucial for informed decision-making.

RTX 5060 Ti

The RTX 5060 Ti’s 20 per cent improvement over the previous generation is evident in most 3DMark tests, such as Speed Way, Fire Strike Ultra, Port Royal, and Fire Strike Extreme. This difference decreases to 14 per cent in the Geekbench benchmark.

Like its predecessor, the 16GB RTX 5060 Ti is about 33% slower than the RTX 5070. Nvidia’s new graphics card will likely be priced between $400 and $450.

Interestingly, RTX 5070 cards are available at the official price and even cheaper in Europe, but there aren’t many buyers. This shows the incredible popularity of the RTX 4070 Super, a trend that many in the tech community are part of.
